Welcoming Autumn

Fall in Rocklin, CA is a wonderful thing. The oaks in the park are dropping acorns like there's no tomorrow, the leaves are changing, the air is fresh and full of pleasant smells. There's no better place to enjoy the onset of fall than up at Apple Hill. Kyle and Natalie came up from socal to visit and that's where we went. The fresh apple cider and the tri-tip sandwiches made for a memorable trip. We count it a wonderful blessing to have friends like Kyle and Natalie. The latest news is that our home fellowship has officially adopted Mindy and I as workers of the harvest! This has been such a blessing feeling the support of our home congregation. G. is good and is working things out for his purposes. I have been filling up with boatloads of encouragement as of late reading through a book about abiding by Andrew Murray. The blessings seem to fall onto my lap off of each page. I have found a new fervor in resting in Him, abiding in Him. It has been a reawakening of sorts in my heart, PTL for His work in us! Mindy is still adjusting at work and has been discouraged at times, please pray for strength. She had the chance to visit her great friend Esther in Cour d'elane Idaho last weekend. She called me Sunday as she ate lunch on the rocky shore of a lake nestled in the hills outside of town. She came home encouraged and revived. It is good to witness G's faithfulness as we abide in C. Thank you for your friendship.
